Murderer's Row

Over the past two games, our Minnesota Twins have won games in which their opponents started the last two National League Cy Young winners: Jake Peavey (2007) and Brandon Webb (2006). Interestingly, last Friday the Twins defeated five time Cy Young winner Randy Johnson. Tonight they face four time Cy Young Winner Greg Maddux with the opportunity to do something few, if any, teams have ever done. To win games against four Cy Young winning starters (11 total awards) in a span of five games is something few would have expected from one of baseballs power teams, much less our weak hitting Twinkies.
