Who's Jimmy Sturr sleeping with on the Grammy committee?
Jimmy Sturr has won 17 of 23 Best Polka Album Grammys (74%) including 7 of the last 8 (it would have probably been 8 for 8 had he released a new album in 2005).
He is dominating.
I never thought I would see the words "polka" and "dominating" in the same post about anything. I guess if you wait long enough...

Actually, Frankie Yankovic won the first ever Polka Grammy in 1985. However, the title “70 Years of Hits” is obviously not one of the top 11 best.

The Grammy Awards are based on the familiarity and popularity of the artist, not his/her music. Take Jimmy Sturr; no way he could win all those Grammy's for his music. There are many other polka musicians whose polka music is far better in quality than Jimmy Sturr's, yet this guy wins every year. Why? He's a politician. he's like a Washington lobbyist. Plus, he's got he's fingers up the voting members a---s. The Grammy Awards are a joke, especially for the Polka Grammy Award. On top of that, this guy is single at age 56 and lives with his 90 year-old parents. Sounds fishy to me.
